Dear Luan,

Holy moly, there is so much going on, including our Fall Fundraiser! We are so appreciative of your ongoing monthly support and couldn’t do this without you. Would you consider donating a one-time cup of coffee ☕ today to help us reach our Fall Fundraiser goal and continue working on the issues you care about?

CORRUPTION, in its many forms, is a theme that’s on most people’s minds through this election cycle. It’s been on ours, too.

WHY are regulatory agencies like the U.S. EPA and the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, originally created to protect human health, allowing the biggest berry distributor in the world, Driscoll’s, to apply carcinogenic pesticides right next to schools—putting elementary and middle schoolchildren in harm's way? Corruption.

That’s why we launched a campaign to help California families pressure Driscoll’s to stop “berrying” our children in toxic pesticides. But it won’t stop there. We’re working to make this a global boycott campaign. It’s going to take many concerned citizens worldwide to change this family-owned multinational corporation that only cares about its bottom line.

Diana Reeves with Omar Dieguez, who went on a 30-day hunger strike in 2025 to shine a spotlight on Driscoll’s farming practices in California.

Especially when polls show that Americans overwhelmingly support health and environment-protective regulations, WHY have we been forced to endure a deregulatory onslaught from the EPA in recent years, from PFAS “forever chemicals” to pesticides, putting all Americans’ health at risk? Corruption.

The corporate executives and lobbyists crossing through the Revolving Door between industry and government regulatory agencies have done so for years in the shadows, without shame. They make the rules that benefit polluting corporations and break the rules that benefit the rest of us. That’s why we’re calling them out and campaigning for Congress to reform the EPA.

And let’s not forget about the pesticide-harm immunity battles on the federal and state levels over the last few years. Bayer-Monsanto bought U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson to do the company’s bidding in Congress, introducing poison pills into budgetary legislation and in the Federal Farm Bill in an attempt to hand the pesticide industry immunity from “failure to warn” lawsuits. Corruption.

We plastered his mugshot across social media and called him and other puppet politicians out, many posts going viral. We helped generate enough national exposure that the poison pills were stripped. We were winning. Until the Supreme Court ruled in Bayer’s favor in June. Corruption?

But even on that issue, the fight is not over. We’ll continue to promote legislation that would reverse the Court’s decision.

These are just a few of the many issues every American should know about, but surprisingly few do. If Americans aren’t aware of the corruption taking place, they can’t take action. Not taking action means continued corruption.

That’s why your gift today makes a difference.

We’ve been exposing corruption since we were founded nearly 15 years ago, reaching millions of people. But for broad systemic change, we need to reach many, many millions more. We must not stop until we get the changes we all want and deserve.

I have been a full time volunteer since the beginning. We operate on a shoestring but these ongoing battles take a lot of dedication, time, and financial resources. The cost of a cup of coffee, from many people, keeps us afloat. You can help fund the important work of exposing corruption and holding corporations and government accountable. An additional one-time gift today, large or small, will assure that we can continue fighting.

By the way, we have a new supporter management platform that you, the recurring donor, can log into and personally update your own information, including expiring credit card information. Scroll down for the instructions on how to access your donor account. Please bookmark the login page so you can quickly log in to your account at any time in the future.

Thank you for investing in the work we do. We will never take you for granted.
