Update on GoFundMe & Other Crowdfunding Sites

Here’s a quick update on the GoFundMe situation, and new developments we’re tracking: 

• GoFundMe has issued a public statement and removed nonprofits from its own search results. 

• However, many of those pages still appear in Google searches. 

• We’ve also heard from members about similar issues on Pledge.to and Every.org.

PANO is coordinating with the National Council of Nonprofits, which released a statement and continues to advocate for greater transparency and nonprofit control in third-party fundraising.
