DRC OPEN HOURSMonday through Friday, 10am to 2pm.

When area schools are closed because of inclement weather, the Democratic Resource Center will also be closed.

The past few weeks, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has continued its escalation, conducting raids in Eau Claire (WI), Lac Du Flambeau (WI), Hudson (WI), St. Cloud (MN), Madelia (MN), Rochester (MN), and Plymouth (MN).

The ECCD Office has keychain whistles for personal defense and/or alerting neighbors to the presence of predators, and red cards to inform about your constitutional rights and the language to assert them.

Eau Claire County,
This weekend, in Minneapolis, a federal immigration agent murdered Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse who cared for our veterans at the VA hospital. We all watched it play out from dozens of different angles, filmed by bystanders on their cellphones, in the freezing cold. Despite lies from the government, we all had the same takeaway: this was an execution...

Ken Martin (Democratic National Committee Chair)

Bruce Springsteen released a new protest song, “Streets of Minneapolis,” condemning ICE and naming Trump administration officials in response to a federal immigration crackdown and the fatal shootings of two Minneapolis residents, dedicating the track to the victims, immigrant communities, and city residents while drawing sharp pushback from the White House.

The Eau Claire County Democratic Party needs your help to continue working to elect Democratic and progressive candidates to local, state, and national office.
In 2026, the Eau Claire County Democrats will put all our financial and volunteer resources behind the important spring local elections and the crucial November midterm.
Although this past year brought the U.S. unprecedented challenges, the Eau Claire County Democrats have increased our involvement and activism many times over. We expanded Democratic Visibility with billboards and ads in area and regional publications. We support the Wednesday People’s Protest, now in its tenth month of weekly demonstrations, and we continue to organize and participate in other large rallies with thousands of community participants.
Your financial support funds the work of the Eau Claire County Democratic Party and funds the busy year-round Democratic Resource Center (DRC).

In less than 200 days, fall primary voters will head to the polls to choose the candidates they hope can win control of the governor’s office.

For those who decide to vote in the Democratic primary, there are plenty of options, with a range of political experience, gender and racial backgrounds, and left-wing to left-of-center political views. But recent campaign finance reports and candidate performances at a small business forum in Milwaukee show no clear front-runner yet.
