Dear Drew,
On June 6, 1944, Americans stormed the beaches of Normandy. On June 6, 2025, we’re marching on Washington to protect what those heroes fought for.
Veterans, military families, federal workers, and allies from across the country will unite on the National Mall to demand that America keep its promises.
We are fighting back against:
-
Cuts to VA services and staffing
-
Politicization of our service and sacrifice
-
Attacks on federal workers — many of them veterans
Join Task Force Butler and Veterans Fighting Fascism at the 🚖 Unite for Veterans Rally 📍 National Mall, Washington, D.C. 🕒 Friday, June 6 | 2:00–6:00 PM ET 🎯 Stage: Near 6th St & Air and Space Museum

Let’s be clear: The cuts to the VA won’t stop unless we make them. The dignity of our service won’t be defended unless we show up to defend it. History is watching.
March with us. Stand with us. Because silence is not an option.
Why This Matters to Us At Task Force Butler Institute and Veterans Fighting Fascism, our mission is to ensure that veterans continue serving the American people — by standing up to extremism, defending democratic institutions, and protecting one another.
The June 6 rally is not just a protest. It’s a line in the sand.
It’s a peaceful, patriotic stand against the dismantling of the very systems veterans rely on. It’s a demonstration of what we believe: that public service is honorable, that democracy is worth defending, and that silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity.
