Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful's Young Ambassador Class of 2026

We’re excited to kick off the fourth year of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Young Ambassador Program! This year, 28 students in grades 10-12 were chosen during a competitive application process. Each year, these amazing young leaders bring fresh ideas and real energy to our communities. The Young Ambassadors program is an initiative in partnership with PA Department of Transportation, and with support from Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania funded by the NiSource Charitable Foundation and DOW, designed to cultivate the passion and leadership of young community stewards. By providing access to essential resources, the program empowers these ambassadors to actively promote a shared vision of a clean and beautiful Pennsylvania within their own communities. Meet our Young Ambassadors here!

Kudos to Allegheny CleanWays: Immaculate Collection for a Cleaner Pittsburgh!

With the NFL Draft coming to Pittsburgh in April, the city is stepping up and Allegheny CleanWays is at the heart of it. Their new initiative, the Immaculate Collection, kicked off with a ceremonial trash toss and a goal of cleaning up the highways and neighborhoods.  A group of civic, foundation, corporate, and community partners are taking on the massive clean-up task over the next several months and Allegheny CleanWays is rallying volunteers to beautify the city and make a powerful statement before the national spotlight hits. It’s more than a cleanup; it’s community pride in action! Way to go, Allegheny CleanWays! Find out more here.
