- Southern MD Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Partnership, Pathways Program CSM offers an Associate of Science in Engineering degree. Upon completing this degree students may apply and transfer to the UMD Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering offered at the SMART Building. There are internship opportunities with the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), with a possible employment opportunity upon successful graduation and completion of all Pathway Program requirements. Interested students should apply for the Southern Maryland ENTRY Program and the Maryland Transfer Advantage Program (MTAP). Information on both programs can be found here:
