We are ecstatic to announce the relaunch of HBL’s Golden Gears program - where those in their “golden years” get the opportunity to cruise along the bike paths of O‘ahu in our laidback recumbent trikes. We’ve got eleven trikes available and three new locations to trike from. You think riding on two-wheels is fun? You gotta give our THREE-wheelers a try! They don't require you to balance to enjoy the ride, they're comfortable & support your back with a mesh backrest + padded seat, and best of all - you can ride for free! Click here for the details ❯❯

This floating green box in the middle of the intersection, marked with a bicycle + left arrow, officially called a Two-Stage Turn Queue Box, is to help bicyclists make a left turn without having to merge across lanes of traffic. If you don’t feel like merging across busy lanes of traffic by bicycle, ride across the intersection to stage your bike in the green box. When you get there stop & turn your bike in the direction of the arrow (where you want to go) & proceed through when the light turns green. This makes you more visible to motorists behind you & allows you to make your turn easily, even in heavy traffic!
